On June 3, at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine \u0421ommittee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, draft law No.2285-d was considered and the amendments proposed by experts were discussed.<\/p>\n
For the approval of the bill and its recommendation for the second reading in the meeting room, 21 committee members voted at a meeting on Wednesday<\/strong>, two were against. A member of the committee Andrei Motovilovets (“Sluga Naroda” faction) informed about this:<\/p>\n “The committee <\/strong>almost unanimously supported the formation of a new market and with a consolidated position asks for the support of the Verkhovna Rada. We are fully ready to go out into the hall for a second reading.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n At the same time, members of the committee from the \u201cGolos\u201d faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Galina Vasilchenko, left the committee meeting in protest.<\/strong> Vasilchenko commented on her Facebook page:<\/p>\n \u201cJust now, Yaroslav Zheleznyak and I left the committee meeting due to the fact that the procedure was voted according to which we were not able to defend our important amendments: to provide slot machines only in five-star hotels (the draft law for the second reading contains a proposal to allow them in three and four-star), limiting the number of slot machines taking into account the population. This norm was adopted in the first reading. But attention – it just disappeared by the second reading. We wanted to return it.
