According to Swedish gambling legislation, operators have the right to provide users with a bonus only once - after registration. Four operators from the ComeOn group did not comply with this law and provided free bonuses to users several times.
Online casino Casinostugan not only spoiled customers with free bonuses. The operator provided the player with funds for $2530. The amount of the fine for the operator was $3 million. The gambling operator Hajper was caught on violations twice. One of the casino players was given free spins and an additional $900. Another user also received free spins and a nice bonus of $1600. The fine for the operator Hajper was $6 million. Another member of the ComeOn Sweden holding offered its user a repeated bonus of $4,800, for which he was fined by the regulator for $4.2 million.
The largest fine for the same violations was received by the subsidiary operator Shabbare - $7.8 million. Representatives of the regulator noted that operators re-issued bonuses not randomly and only to certain players. According to Spelinspektionen, gambling operators deliberately gave bonuses to addicted gamblers. Thus, they stimulated gambling addiction. The regulation considered that gambling operators did not keep their obligations, according to which they must protect this category of players. In addition to fines, ComeOn holding may be deprived of its license in Sweden if such violations occur again.
