In 2020, several records have already been set for the number of views of poker events online. For example, in May of this year, poker pro Lex Veldhus reached 58,416 viewers, who simultaneously watched his participation in the Spring Online Poker Championship.
The record is quite impressive, but it lasted only for three months. German Jens Knosall beat Lex's result by more than 1.5 times, and the number of views reached 91 680 people! Interestingly, Jens did not stream his own game, but his friend, who took part in a large-scale online tournament and won the second place.
And Ukrainian players are not deprived of the attention of Twitch viewers. The official channel of the main Ukrainian poker room PokerMatch stands out, where you can daily follow the play of streamers and ambassadors of the room, such as Yevgeny Kachalov or Olga Ermolcheva.
