I dont want to put down more than 5 dollars to start out with until I see if I like it or not.. Soooo is there any online poker sites that would allow me to do this?

Actually, if you are not willing to deposit more than 50$ I dont see why you want to play poker online, with 5$ you wont have any success.
Poker Stars has a min of $10 for many deposit methods. But if you are basing your opinion of the site on whether you are winning or losing, $5 isn’t a good baseline to measure.
