You wouldn’t need an ammendment to do that, just a law identifying it as pornography.

Private poker tournaments?

Question by Ron Pottle: Private poker tournaments?
Does anyone know of a poker site that will allow me to create texas holdem private tournaments without a deposit?
Party poker states that you must be an affiliate that can get at least 200 hundred people to join. Thats BS. I just want to go to a site and create a tournament for me and my friends. We don’t mind paying for the convenience. We just don’t want to make a deposit because we cam handle our own finacial dispersments in our own way.
Ladbrokes looked promissing, however, their system will not allow members from the United States to register a guest account.

What poker site has the cheapest sit & go tournaments, and how much is the buy-in?

Question by Glyn B: What poker site has the cheapest sit & go tournaments, and how much is the buy-in?
Paradise Poker has €2.20 buy-in, but that’s the only site I’ve used so far.
U.K.

Yeah, I thought it was a loss at the poker tables when the US Government passed that law, and I still think it.
So far, it looks like Pokerstars, with a $ 0.10 NL Hold’em buy-in, and no fee. Monday 06:00.
Correction, the above tournament is not Sit & Go, sorry.

Q&A: What kind of interesting poker tournaments have you heard of?

poker tournaments

Question by JudasHero: What kind of interesting poker tournaments have you heard of?
I have a regular poker tournament going on in my town and I want to try adding some unusual tournaments to the roster. For instance, at the end of the month, we’re going to try a knockout tournament, where players get bonus money for eliminating another player. I’m also thinking of trying rebuy tournaments and double/triple shoot out tournaments. Do you know of any other interesting or unusual kinds of poker tournaments?
I’m not asking for names of events. I’m asking for KINDS of no limit hold em tournaments, like satellites, rebuys, knockouts, double shoot outs, triple shoot outs, etc.
A knockout tournament and a bounty tournament are similar. In a bounty tournament, there’s a price on a specific player; in a knockout tournament, you get a bonus for knocking out ANYBODY. So you could potentially win money without even placing. A bounty tournament could work, where someone gets a bonus for knocking out the 1st place finisher from last time or tournament leader. Thanks.
And yup, what you described is exactly what a shoot-out tournament is.
