Well you cant find free stuff nowadays it doesn’t matter if you are playing poker online or shopping at Walmart… If you win any real money on a free tournament/table there will be a lot of restrictions that make it impossible to cash out and if you are good enough to complete those requirements… what are you doing playing for free?

If you want to earn real money then play with real money, just don’t go crazy… you are not going to become a millionaire in 2 days of poker playing.

The most important thing to do is find a good place that will pay you when you win.

At Full Tilt you can join some “freeroll” tournaments where you can win a very small amount (maybe a dollar or so). Theoretically, you could then roll that into bigger money by working your way up through other tournaments, starting with a $ 1 tournament.

No. The closest thing to a casino is the Rideau-Carleton Raceway, which has harness racing, and slot machines. The Casino d’Hull (Casinu du Lac-Leamy) is an actual casino, but I do not know if they have poker rooms. I would imagine so, but I do not know for sure.

I will be in San Antonio from Sept 16-20 and I realized there are no local casinos. I am wondering if there are any hotels, clubs, VFW’s, etc. that hold weekly or special poker nights (stud, hold’em, etc)? Thanks for your time.

I am not sure of any tornaments but did find the following link with email addresses of local players who get together and play on different nights.
