Question by n2deep_07: Is there any good poker tournament managing software for free?
I am in charge of planning a poker tournament for my campus, and I was wondering if anyone knows of software I can project with a blind timer and chip value section. It’s a Texas hold ‘em tournament if that helps. Thanks in advance!

OK I am going to be specific, I am looking for online poker tracker software for Macs, that can be used on PokerStars Multi Table Tournaments (mTTS)or SNGS . I do not need emulator info or programs that run on emulators or that work for only cash games. Can you help me?

If you have a facebook or a myspace account which everyone should know about…. they also have alot of applications. search for “Texas HoldEm Poker” (If thats the poker your looking for)….. add the application but i’d prefer doing it on facebook because you get more chips after winning a good hand…. and you also get between 2000 to 4000 chips everyday you get on so be careful there are alot of skilled people online around the world…why not search for my email and add me on facebook or myspace and i’ll give you extra chips ok

I have seen where people have posted videos on the web showing an online poker game they are playing. A buddy of mine said he knew of some kind of software that would record from the desktop, but he couldn’t remember what it was called.

Does anybody know of this? Or have you used anything like this to record a poker game as you were playing it?

Do you mean that you what to record games on your PC?
If so, what you need is a screen video capture program.
Try to use a screen recorder called Total Screen Recorder

I want to host a private, for fun, invitation only online poker tournament for my friends (2-12 people). I’m looking for a web site or software program that would facilitate this, preferably software so that people would not be required to register at a site. I will announce the time, participants will log on from their home and play
in the game. I imagine this is possible, but haven’t figured out how to do it yet. Any ideas?

Best case scenario: I would download a server client, and then give my IP address to friends. I wait for them to connect and join, then I start the tournament.

PokerRoom.com allows you to set up play money, private tables. If you’re from the US, you can’t deposit with real money but you can use the play money tables all day long. This is probably the simplest solution.

Ok, so I just started playing online no limit Texas Hold em poker tournaments and don’t really know the game that well. I don’t play anything else other than No Limit Texas Hold em. I stick to playing the tournaments because I feel they last longer. Online poker tournaments are way funner because there is no pressure from versus live Texas Hold em tournaments. Anyways, My question is are there any software programs out there that are good and directed towards only “online No Limit Texas Hold em tournaments”? I don’t play anything else so it has to be that. I have been searching and there are programs, but when I type in “online No Limit Texas Hold em tournaments” the software programs are hard to weave through. There are way too many poker software programs out there and I was hoping I can get some feedback here. Thanks!

Dude, I definatly know what you mean. I am fairly new myself to online poker, but have managed to take down a few $ 1,000 no limit texas hold em tournaments myself. I know of a poker software program that a friend of mine is about to launch. I beta tested it and it is pretty sweet and is geard strictly towards online no limit texas hold em tournament play. This is a poker software so I think it would suit you well. Check out http://www.pokerbetter.com as they are the only website selling this type of poker software. I think it may not be out yet so you might just need to fill in you name and email and they will let you know when it is up for sale. Hope this helped! Good luck with your online poker tournaments!

I see these websites that say if you pay 50 dollars they will give you software so you can see your opponents cards playing online poker during a hand. I searched just being curious and i found so many different ones but all wanting at least 50 for the software. I play online poker this makes me so sick! Are these sites legit because looking at them they look pretty legit to me! Any input on this I would definitely appreciate.

Stay away from online gambling, it will make you lose more than what you win. Gambling addiction is a major issue in todays society, and defninitely not worth going bankrupt for.

No, there’s no way of doing this. There’s a good ebook on the poker bot review blog that explains the different types of poker bots and how they work.
