Question by Vova34: I need some online Poker tips and Strategies?
I want to start my online poker account soon but I need some tips. My causing has let me play on his account(fulltilt) many times and I have learned how to play but I need to play better .I am not planning to make good income playing poker but I do want to make few bucks here and there. The last tournament I won for my causing because he had to to leave had a reward of 60$ which was nice. I won 3 out of 3 tournaments what he would ask me to finish for him and I have won some on my own but since it’s his account I would only risk about 2$ per tournament he risks more. Here are some neat strategies that I have developed . I have found a way to take advantage of pressure players by pretending to hassitate and once they pot me and expect me to fold I double it up and at that point its really hard for them to fold.(I do this when i have good cards) I also switch my playing style from playing only when i have good cards to bluffing and playing almost every hand during the cource of the tournament. I never go all in before the flop and when I chose when to pot raise or fold I do it really fast so its hard for them to read me. Do you have any tips because I am a noob but a very cautios one?

if your good with expressions…always look nervous when you have a good hand and dont stop moving or whipe your forehead like it has sweat on it. anything that looks like your in trouble. it will throw off everyone. and bid slowly…then at the last call double whats in the pot works for me lots

I am looking for bedding (specifically a comforter and pillows) with a playing card theme. I’ve seen the one that Domestications sells but it’s not the style I prefer. I would like to find something very simple and elegant with suits (diamonds, hearts, spades & clubs) on it or something in a similar design. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What I love is cheap SAT tournaments that lead to good prize tourney.

Online Poker is so popular, tournaments are pretty much all day, without worry about where you live.

Cheap buy-ins and huge prizes are a great draw, these are the sites that have the most competition and fun.

Pokerstars is the one that has very Euro friendly poker hours. Now that American’s are having trouble getting more money in the have started to offer a lot more tournies in Euro friendly hours. Good luck.

Is it like blackjack, where you walk to the table, sit down and change some money for chips?

yes if you play cash games, you basically walk in and buy in chips…

most casinos also host tourneys where you show up at a specific time and buy into the tourney…

Most sites like pokerstars, full tilt, and cake, for example have multiple deposit options. At the former and the second, instant echeck deposits are possible. Just ur bank account, ssn, and private info are needed. The latter, cakepoker dot com facilitates non-cc deposits via online wallets like quicktender and ewalletxpress. Those so called e-wallets can likewise be funded by ach transfer directly from a bank account…

(I see u say at dot net sites… from what i understand, most dot net sites are play money and hence dont need deposits since there is no real funds in play)

Ok, so I just started playing online no limit Texas Hold em poker tournaments and don’t really know the game that well. I don’t play anything else other than No Limit Texas Hold em. I stick to playing the tournaments because I feel they last longer. Online poker tournaments are way funner because there is no pressure from versus live Texas Hold em tournaments. Anyways, My question is are there any software programs out there that are good and directed towards only “online No Limit Texas Hold em tournaments”? I don’t play anything else so it has to be that. I have been searching and there are programs, but when I type in “online No Limit Texas Hold em tournaments” the software programs are hard to weave through. There are way too many poker software programs out there and I was hoping I can get some feedback here. Thanks!

Dude, I definatly know what you mean. I am fairly new myself to online poker, but have managed to take down a few $ 1,000 no limit texas hold em tournaments myself. I know of a poker software program that a friend of mine is about to launch. I beta tested it and it is pretty sweet and is geard strictly towards online no limit texas hold em tournament play. This is a poker software so I think it would suit you well. Check out http://www.pokerbetter.com as they are the only website selling this type of poker software. I think it may not be out yet so you might just need to fill in you name and email and they will let you know when it is up for sale. Hope this helped! Good luck with your online poker tournaments!
