Can I legally join tournaments on Full Tilt Poker if I’m 18?
Question by John H: Can I legally join tournaments on Full Tilt Poker if I’m 18?
The tournament in question is a satellite to a live tournament in Las Vegas. I know that I am allowed to participate in the poker online because of the fact that Full Tilt is based in another country but my question is if I happen to win the tournament and my prize is a seat in a live tournament in Las Vegas, will I be allowed to play. And if not what sort of compensation will I get because I won.
Here is the relevant article from the Terms & Conditions:
“you are at least 18 years of age, or of at least the minimum permitted age for participating in such activities if you are situated in a state, province or commonwealth that stipulates a minimum age restriction that is greater than 18 years”

No, I’m afraid not. You have to be 21 years old to play in Vegas.

Whats the best online poker freeroll league I can join?

Question by NateTrib: Whats the best online poker freeroll league I can join?
I’m talking about a league, most likely within a forum, so don’t answer this question advertising an online poker site where you play poker please.

They have freerolls & cash tourneys almost every day. The 2006 season just wrapped up though, but Jan. 1, 2007 takes off full steam ahead. They have TONS more tournies in 07 than they did in 06 or 05. Good competition, friendly forum & great ownership too! Check it out. I highly recommend it and I doubt you’ll find a better one out there. (If you do, let me know though.)

I’m from the US but want to join an online poker/casino/sportsbet site that doesn’t allow US customers. How?
Question by Eat F: I’m from the US but want to join an online poker/casino/sportsbet site that doesn’t allow US customers. How?
Well, I have been playing on pokerstars for about 7 years now but just found out about the whole rigging software. So I wanted to make a switch to partypoker in protest, but they won’t allow US customers. Party poker also lets you do sports bets and online roulette which I like.

You don’t. You can use proxies to fool the site into thinking you are from another country, but then your address, credit card number etc. will give it away.
