Question by hellensynclair: How can i start a home tournement to get to the WSOP? There’s a great system i heard about. anyone?
Home poker tourney information that will lead the winner to the WSOP with spending money. I heard about one through the grapevine.

There’s several ways you could do it, but I’d need more information to give you some ideas.

Like how much time do you have, how many tournaments are you going to run, and how many people are going to be showing up at your tournaments.

One way, you could run weekly tournaments for say 6 months. The entry fee, something like . goes to a prize pool for the tournament, and goes to a pool for the WSOP prize package.

So if you ran a tournament every week for 6 months, it would be around 24 tournaments. You would need 100 people for each tournament to get ,000, which would be for a ,000 entry fee, and ,000 for expenses.

Does anyone know if there any “Double Or Nothing” poker tournaments in real casinos? I know that there are tournaments like that in on-line casinos, I am looking for offline casino where I can play tournament like that in USA or Canada.

I assume you are talking double or nothing Sit N Gos and as far as I know you won’t find many of those in a casino. I love those tournaments too and was able to build a bankroll just playing those tournaments on PokerStars but I mostly play on Full Tilt now and they don’t have them but I am having positive results in the regular Sit N Gos.

I see these avg joes playing for millions and betting ,000′s on tv. (espon poker tournaments and gaming channel) and from what I understand there avg joes like you and me that has played online and some kinda way won online and the chance to play the High stakes for $$$$$. Anyone know how this is done?

No average joes have won, it’s poker, you need to look like that to win.
You might have heard the terms Poker face? it’s a term looking normal when you have a tough decision or someone is trying to get information off you and your reactions, all the people who have won these things are really a lot more skilled than you could imagine.
but any way to enter one of them, if you have signed up to a poker site? (dreampoker, poker champs, 888, 32red and neumerous other ones) just type poker in google.
you can look in thoer poker lobby for the big tournaments that your on about, play them from the lower limits and win your way up to the ,000,000. main prize tournaments. I’ll tell you! it’s no way easy, but, GOOD LUCK!
