I was wondering if there are any reputable Poker sites which do not have the casino element. I enjoy playing Poker but find myself always wasting my winnings on their slot games when play is slow. If there are no sites without the casino element, are there any sites where you can exclude yourself from playing the casino without excluding yourself from the poker?

Neither Full Tilt nor PokerStars have casino games. Many of the other US-friendly sites do have casino games, but I don’t know about the others that don’t accept US players.
I like playing the slots, too, for a break, when I’m on one of the sites with casinos — but only for play money. I don’t need to use real money to know I’m unlikely to get ahead that way. The reason I play poker is that it does have the skill element. Slots don’t.

Bear in mind that people gambling away their money at the casino games come in the other direction too. That means sites with an integrated casino tend to be easier to win on then sites without.
If you get bored try opening an extra table and see if you can keep up – at least then your wasted money improves your poker skill.

Here is your best bet in my opinion. Cake Poker has the the best of both worlds. When you sign up through cake poker you can’t play their casino. However, the largest online casino sportsbook plays through the cake network. What that means is you have all the donkeys from sportsbook playing poker on the cake network which makes cake the site known to have the most loose players. And as i mentioned if you sign up through cake you will not be allowed to play the casino games.
