Poker rooms typically give you $ 1 an hour for playing. Just go online and look for the lowest rate and play poker where you want to play.

I would think that men and women could compete on an equal playing field in poker, wouldn’t you? So why have separate events for women only?

What variation of poker did James Bond played when they was playing for the BIG prize money? I want to get into poker. I know that there’s many variations of poker, I just want to play the same variation of poker that they were playing in 007 Casino Royale. I’ve seen a few clips of pro poker players that are just disgusted with online playes winning or buying into a pro tournament and their play is just awful and sometimes by sheer luck, the online players wins money. Should some respect be shown to actual pros….that if you’re stepping into their world, learn the rules, the odds…don’t just bet goofy and hope for a hand…actually know what you hold and know how to bet….

Pros love online players. At the end of the day the online explosion has brought a massive influx of dreadful players into the game which has given many of the huge pay days. They may be exasperated by some of the hyper maniac players, but in the long term good pros will always come out on top.

You should probably start out at some of the free tournaments they have online. Or, if there is a poker room nearby, many of them have tournaments with buy-ins as little as $ 50. It’s best to start cheap and get the feel for tournament play. Also, if you’re luck enough to win some of these tournaments, you may be awarded and entry into a much more expensive, big time prize money tournament. Even some of the free tournaments online can lead to big money.

Question by HELP ME: Any 18+ poker rooms/casino in the LA area?
Hey guys, im going to school at UCLA now, and Im wondering if there are any oker rooms or casinos in the LA area that are 18+. In michigan, we have charity poker rooms, like Trippers or Buddys(Lansing area anyone) on top of the typical indian casinos, all of which are 18 plus. Im looking to play poker in the LA area, but I feel that most casinos are 21 plus in that area. Anyone know of any?

The closest one is Casino Morongo. It’s about an hour drive down the 10 freeway.

If you want to get a poker game going, it’s easy enough to get one going at UCLA. If you live in the dorms, there are plenty of fish there. I paid for most of my education from the fish at Dykstra and Rieber Hall when I went there.

Well you cant find free stuff nowadays it doesn’t matter if you are playing poker online or shopping at Walmart… If you win any real money on a free tournament/table there will be a lot of restrictions that make it impossible to cash out and if you are good enough to complete those requirements… what are you doing playing for free?

If you want to earn real money then play with real money, just don’t go crazy… you are not going to become a millionaire in 2 days of poker playing.

The most important thing to do is find a good place that will pay you when you win.
