Looking for free online poker, not looking to bet real money?

Question by mvben06: Looking for free online poker, not looking to bet real money?
I saw a guy in one of my college classes playing some online poker that had this really cool graphical interface. I want the ability to play online and it’s downloadable. Not really looking to bet real money, I just want to play for fun. Has to be Texas Hold’em!

Guaranteed Tournaments in online poker?

Question by user: Guaranteed Tournaments in online poker?
I play with UltimateBet, and I want to enter a couple of tournaments tomorrow as I have bene doing fairly good. I noticed they have guaranteed tournaments like 2K or 5K, and they start sunday morning/afternoon, and there is no one signed up yet! Will 200 people or more suddenly sign up, or will it start regardless of how many people sign up? Do the casions just make up the difference and make their money in other ways?

A guaranteed tournament means that the site will ensure a minimum size for the prize pool. The tournament will start regardless of how many people join. If the number of people multiplied by their contribution to the prize pool is less than the guarantee, then the site makes up the difference.
