Question by Don b: Where I can find good online poker tournaments to play in?
Hello,

This is my first question here . I love to play poker and just recently I started to play poker online. I don’t know much about online tournaments and where can I find some. I hope you can help me. Perhaps you know a good site which contains details about poker tournaments and stuff. I don’t mind paying a little buy-in if I can win big time .

You should’ve been able to find them without problem in the search engines

Question by tyzekiel: How profitable are casino poker rooms? Do the casino’s compete with each other for poker traffic?
Just wondering if the casino’s are active about trying to draw a customer base to their poker rooms? I’m’ from washington and I know a lot of the local casino’s have shut down their poker rooms because they are not profitable enough. Cheers for any help.

Years ago, casinos started eliminating poker room because they could make more per hour on a bank(s) of slots. Due to the current popularity, they have grown again and are considered a draw into the casino. However, they themselves are not big money makers and time will tell as the bottom line is scrutinized again.

Most of the websites out now allow you to put money onto your poker account, but they won’t allow you to take out they money you have won. If you were talking about playing for free, I would look at PartyPoker or BoDog.

www.pokerstars.com is a favorite of mine. Just go to cashier and deposit money via epassporte or a major credit card. You can also play with play chips for practice.
